About Emily

Emily joined Gisborne Veterinary Clinic after a career in scientific research with The University of Melbourne. Growing up on a sheep and cattle farm in western Victoria, she has always had a strong connection with animals and a passion for ensuring they receive the care and attention they need, whether they are well or injured.

With her scientific background, Emily particularly enjoys the pathology side of veterinary medicine and supports the clinic with pathology processing and laboratory work, helping our veterinary team provide the very best care for our clients and their animals.

Over the years, Emily has seen both her human and animal brood grow to include three children, three horses, two dogs, two cats, enough chooks to provide a steady supply of eggs, and a hobby-farm-sized mob of sheep. She is an avid rider and is particularly dedicated to the care of her horses, enjoying getting out and about with them.

At Gisborne Veterinary Clinic, Emily enjoys a varied role, working across pathology and reception, supporting both our veterinary team and clients.
