Lucy began studying Veterinary Nursing in 2018 and qualified in 2020. She started her career as an Equine Veterinary Nurse before joining the team at Gisborne Veterinary Clinic in 2019, where she gained valuable experience nursing both large and small animals.

Horses have always been a huge part of Lucy’s life, both professionally and personally. She has a strong background in eventing and has ridden for most of her life, competing at a high level for more than 10 years before stepping away from competition ahead of the birth of her first child. Her extensive experience with horses gives her a unique understanding of their care, behaviour and the special bond between horses and their owners. She has a genuine passion for nursing, client care and supporting animals and their owners throughout their ongoing journey.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys spending time with her family and keeping busy with her two young children.
