After spending more than 30 years working across a variety of roles in both Government, including Defence, and the private sector, Sharon returned to Gisborne Veterinary Clinic in 2023, and took on the role of Practice Manager.

She absolutely loves the veterinary industry and is passionate about the special bond people share with their animals. She is particularly proud to be part of a dedicated and caring team who work hard every day to provide the best possible care for their patients and clients.

A lifelong animal — and spider — lover, Sharon’s life outside the clinic revolves largely around her horses and spending time outdoors. She enjoys riding and caring for her 12-year-old Thoroughbred and 17-year-old Clydesdale cross, as well as hiking through the surrounding mountains with her much-loved, firecracker of a dog.

For Sharon, working in veterinary practice is about much more than caring for animals — it is about being part of a community that genuinely understands how much our pets and animals mean to us.
